Our leading American industrial company is searching to fill the Designer position. This company specializes in the design, manufacture, and marketing of a broad range of specialty vehicles and vehicle bodies. Headquartered in Oshkosh, this company serves customers across commercial, municipal, defense, and emergency markets. What you will do:

  • Prepare design layouts, diagrams, bills of material, and drawings/schematics for components and assemblies, including supporting calculations such as weight and tolerancing, to support overall vehicle design
  • Create and revise drawings and perform other engineering-related tasks, including analysis, bill of material creation, manufacturing support, layout work, and supplier communication
  • Design vehicle components to meet customer specifications and requirements
  • Ensure proper use of engineering criteria and drawing standards and resolve technical issues following company policies and procedures

What you will need to be successful:

  • Associate degree in mechanical design or equivalent field
