Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

What s a typical day as a Used Car Refurbishment Specialist? You ll be:
Contributing to the identification of target vehicles to establish a model-specific Used Car refurbishment/reconditioning program
Conducting hands-on research and analysis of vehicle refurbishment/reconditioning menu
Conducting cost/benefit analysis and making recommendations for refurbishment/reconditioning menu and its projected value-add to the retail price of the Used Car
Creating a vehicle refurbishment manual to standardize approved cosmetic and mechanical reconditioning tasks
Recording and tracking all activities and creating detailed and summarized reports and documentation
Collaborating with project lead, management, and business development teams to execute assigned projects
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Have hands-on experience with Used Car refurbishment/reconditioning process
Understand the value of repairs and reconditioning of used cars to Used Car sales price
Have hands-on experience at a Used Car operation, such as CarMax or Carvana, and have been involved in the decision-making process to prepare a Used Car for sale
Have knowledge about the vehicle auction process and valuation of Used Cars
Are detailed-oriented and capable of tracking and recording vehicle reconditioning items and costs to create usable datasets for future business planning
Have a "can-do" attitude, are proactive, and willing to learn for those looking to make a transition to a planning role
Have experience with documentation in Powerpoint, Excel, and Word
Are available to work fully on-site or at a partner location, Monday to Friday, for 40 hours per week
