MPA provides after-sales service parts support for Hyundai Motors, Kia Motors, and Genesis. In addition to the distribution of genuine service parts, the MPA Accessories division develops accessories for Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis - which are installed on new vehicles in the United States and Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Teams: Manage New Model, Parts Technical, and Order Management groups to plan and control parts inventory levels to support sales to dealers and meet corporate Fill Rate and MOS objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive strategies to streamline processes, increase productivity, and improve KPIs.
- Reporting & Analysis: Oversee preparation of analytical reports on purchases, order planning, and inventory. Perform analysis and prepare recommendations when performance does not meet objectives.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and expedited order placement to minimize cost of premium freight. Review and research MPA backorders, implementing countermeasures and recovery plans.
- Customer Support: Provide guidance and support for new model group activities to assure part availability for new vehicle customers. Support order management processes for XVOR management and prompt backorder resolution.
- Supplier Management: Lead supplier management processes to improve suppliers shipping performance and achieve fill rate goals. Track and manage excess inventory and scrap.
- Staff Development: Manage, coach, counsel, and develop staff. Utilize diverse talents by efficiently managing time, materials, and budget. Responsible for hiring, developing, and terminating staff as required.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with various internal departments and externally with HQ (Korea), RDC (Alabama & Mexico), local suppliers, and OEM customers. Collaborate with operations, logistics, customs, warehouse, and distribution teams to ensure proper deployment of inventory.
- Strategy Implementation: Initiate reviews, complete internal and external analysis, set inventory and procurement strategy, and be the point person for all supply strategy implementation and planning.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field is required. Master s degree is preferred.
- Experience: 8-10 years in Operations, Purchasing/Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Warehouse Operations.
- 5 or more years management experience in Operations, Purchasing/Supply Chain Management, Logistics, and/or Warehouse Operations.
- Certifications: Professional certifications like CPIM, APICS, or CPM are a plus but not required.
Employment Type - Exempt
Compensation - Annual Salary , $82,680.77 - 122,367.54
