About You

You are a polished Security Systems Designer who uses Revit and AutoCAD regularly. You are a Project Manager committed to gaining experience and growing in excellence. You are passionate supporting clients through security design and construction projects. You will be responsible for managing the full electronic security systems life cycle to include assessment, design, project management, construction administration, and commissioning. Electronic security systems include access control, video surveillance and intrusion alarms.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Design Manager on projects
  • Provides input on improvement of ADRM design standards
  • Serve as Physical Security Consultant on multidisciplinary team conducting site visits including pre-construction assessments
  • Effectively manage multiple projects of varying size and duration
  • Responsible for designing complex, integrated, and effective security systems for existing and new clients
  • Develop design documents to include CAD and Revit design, countermeasure schedules, cabling and conduit schedules, device typicals, risers, programming schedules, budgets, and specifications
  • Develop project construction documents and security scope of work and manage these documents through the project cycle
  • Manage client expectations and Security Integrator deliverables
  • Provide commissioning and punch list services
  • Develop or approve as-built drawings based on commissioning findings and Security Integrator reports
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor s degree or better in related field
  • Ability to perform within a complex and established environment at a federally regulated client
  • 3+ required years of experience in security system design
  • Experience managing, testing, and commissioning security systems including access control, intrusion detection and video management systems
  • Working knowledge of relevant laws and codes impacting security design and implementation
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficient with Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD and Revit application and tools
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team oriented collaborative environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Hard working and dedicated to absolute customer satisfaction
  • Ability to maintain professional and positive behavior
  • Ability to focus for long periods of time
  • Ability to walk long distances during site visits and commissioning
  • Able to pass a comprehensive background check and integrity interview
