About Our Client:

Our client is a leading private equity firm looking to hire a Senior Associate to join their dynamic investment team. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in evaluating investment opportunities, supporting portfolio companies, and driving growth in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

Position Overview:

As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for conducting detailed financial analyses, developing investment strategies, and providing key support in managing portfolio company performance. You will work closely with senior leadership and investment teams to identify potential investments, conduct due diligence, and help execute on growth strategies across various portfolio companies.

This position operates under an open office policy, allowing the flexibility to work remotely with the expectation of attending mandatory on-site meetings 2-3 times per month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed financial modeling and valuation analyses to assess potential investment opportunities.
  • Lead due diligence efforts, including evaluating financial, operational, and strategic aspects of target companies.
  • Develop investment theses and present recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Monitor the performance of portfolio companies, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial and operational outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the executive team of portfolio companies to drive strategic initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and operational improvements.
  • Assist in the preparation of investment committee presentations and other internal reports.
  • Support capital raising activities by preparing investor materials and participating in investor relations efforts.
  • Continuously research market trends and industry dynamics to inform investment strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Significant experience in private equity, investment banking, or a related field.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Proven track record of evaluating and executing investment opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for due diligence and portfolio company meetings.
