Job Summary (Purpose of Job):
- ?IDMS Solution Architect is responsible for overall solution design and cross-functional design consistency for our client on Dynamics 365 F&0 (IDMS) operations and integration back to the client's systems. He/she works closely with functional and technical resources, guiding project fit gap resolution and solution design activities.
- ?IDMS Solution Architect is also responsible for ensuring our client maximizes digital investments in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and complementary programs.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- ?Provide the management team with end-to-end architecture recommendations for D365 F&0 and system integrations. Lead the development of formal D365 technology strategies, roadmaps, and proposals for our client.
- ?Collaborate with IDS Analysts and SMEs to understand operational challenges, identify and prioritize initiatives, and support the implementation of opportunities to streamline operations.
- ?Work with the IT Department, DX team, PM, and third-party solution providers to ensure all technical requirements are defined and met, including the necessary resources and timeline to execute the projects.
- ?Provide functional and development expertise to the support team members and orchestrate end-to-end testing and training on all facets of D365 F&0 implementation and system integrations.
- ?Focus on improving the quality and consistency of systems-related deliverables and project life cycle process.
- ?Provide guidance to the management team on maximizing the systems' standard capabilities and minimizing customization.
- ?Provide technical guidance regarding the tenant data migration.
- ?Act as the regional liaison and build strong relationships with the CM DX Global Template team. By working collaboratively with them to jointly pursue improvement opportunities, ensure the global system's design incorporates the Americas requirements and our client leverages other regions' best practices.
- Minimal travel may be required on an annual basis to attend global conferences and technical meetings

- Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- ?Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics
- ?10+ years of ERP implementation experience, including a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a Solution Architect role, with a significant focus on Microsoft D365 F&0, SCM, or equivalent; certification preferred, such as D365 F&0 Apps Solutions Architect Expert or Power Platform Solution Architect Expert.
- ?Proficiency in X++ and implementing integration between D365 F&0 and other systems using Azure services.
Experience in utilizing power apps to extend D365 F&0 functionality and create custom applications. - ?Expertise in generating reports using SSRS, Power Bi and report designer.
- Deep understanding of application development and life cycle management and has a proven track record of successfully delivering complex, full life-cycle implementations of D365, equivalent ERP, and API development experience.
- ?Implementation, upgrade, and support of the latest versions of Microsoft systems.
- ?Understanding of Life Cycle Services and Microsoft trends and specific best practices is essential.
- ?Preferred experience working within a distribution channel, heavy equipment, construction, or mining industry
- ?Preferred experience with Microsoft tenant migration.
