Azure Network Cloud Engineer Description

We are looking for an Azure Network Cloud Engineer with a focus on Azure networking, not infrastructure as a code or DevOps. Our top 3 skills desired for this role, all within Azure (no networking outside of Azure)
  1. Deployment and management of Virtual Networks (VNETs) and Subnets
  2. Understanding of Azure Network Security Groups, azure firewalls, routing, etc
  3. Solid knowledge of IaaS and PaaS and how to standup instances

Azure Network Cloud Engineer Qualifications & Responsibilities
  • Configure and manage Azure Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, KeyVaults, Shared disks, SQL Servers (PAAS), Data encryption, Logic App, Data Factory, Even Hub, Log analytics workspace, Automation accounts, Azure monitor, Network watcher
  • Deployment and management of Virtual Networks (VNETs), Subnets, Hub and Spoke model, Network Security Groups, azure firewall, Private endpoints, Private DNS, Bastion
  • Configure and manage EXPRESSROUTE, Virtual Network Gateway, Local Network Gateway, Site to Site VPN and Point to Site VPN connectivity from On-Prem to Azure.
  • Very Strong experience of Azure Load balancers, Azure Traffic Manager and Application Gateway.
  • Strong Experience in automating the deployment of infrastructure (Infrastructure as Code) using Terraform and Azure Resource Manager templates.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub
  • Scripting skills - PowerShell, Shall and Azure CLI
  • Configure and management of Backups and Replication (DR) using Azure Recovery Service Vault
  • Configure auditing, monitoring, and alerting for solutions/services deployed in azure cloud
  • Experience on Azure AD Domain Services, Role Back Access Control (RBAC), App registrations, Service Principle and managed domains.
  • Basic knowledge of TLS/SSL certificates
  • Experience migrating workloads from On-Prem to azure
  • Knowledge on Windows and Linux Operating systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues
