We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to lead one of the key divisions throughout the Americas. This high-impact position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of energy solutions, providing innovative systems for network services, renewable energy, and microgrid applications. You will have the autonomy to drive the growth of the division, collaborate with customers across the U.S., and work with an experienced team to achieve key business objectives. This role will allow you to make a significant impact by leading the division's growth and innovation, developing relationships with high-level customers, and managing complex, large-scale deals in the energy sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company growth objectives in the U.S. market.
  • Manage a team of sales managers, technical experts, and pre-sales professionals within the ESS division.
  • Identify new market opportunities and target customers through market mapping and competition analysis.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and executives within the power generation, utilities, and renewable energy sectors.
  • Lead the RFQ and bidding processes, including strong negotiation and contract management to close deals in the $10M-$25M+ range.
  • Oversee project management activities from initiation to contract signing to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of energy storage technologies, regulatory environments, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Engineering or related field highly preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in sales and marketing of technical products
  • Proven success in commercial strategy development, new business growth, and managing multi-million-dollar sales contracts.
  • Strong background in RFQ/bid processes and excellent negotiation skills.
  • Project management experience within a technical sales environment.
  • Ability to travel, mostly concentrated in major U.S. cities.

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in batteries, utilities or renewable energy development, independent power producers, or similar industries.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary of up to $185,000/year with a lucrative bonus structure (30%-100% bonus)
