Job Description:
We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer with expertise in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) or similar marketing automation platforms. The ideal candidate will provide production support, manage incidents, troubleshoot data issues, and ensure system reliability and efficiency. This role demands strong skills in SQL, technical leadership, and an ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Platform Administration: Serve as the AJO Admin to handle user access management, issues related to channels (Email, SMS, Push notifications), and platform monitoring.
  • Production Support: Provide technical support for Adobe Journey Optimizer, resolve incidents, and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
  • Data Engineering: Manage and query data using SQL to ensure data accuracy and integrity in marketing campaigns.
  • Troubleshooting: Perform root cause analysis (RCA) of data-related issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Technical Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of processes, configurations, and known issues to support continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
  • Process Optimization: Develop coding standards, review peer work, and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
  • Customer Engagement: Collaborate with customer architects, present design options, and conduct product demos.
  • Project Leadership: Provide guidance to the development team, manage delivery of modules, and mentor junior team members.
Skills and Qualifications:
Must Have:
  • 4-5 years of experience in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) or similar marketing automation platforms.
  • Strong background in Production Support (5+ years).
  • SQL expertise to manage, query, and ensure data accuracy in campaigns.
  • Ability to monitor platform issues and fix them within agreed SLAs.
  • Experience troubleshooting data-related issues and performing root cause analysis (RCA).
Good to Have:
  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform RT-CDP.
  • Experience with Adobe Campaign or similar platforms.
  • Performance Metrics:
  • Adherence to project timelines and coding standards.
  • Number of technical issues uncovered and resolved.
  • Defects identified and mitigated.
