Description:

Overall Purpose: AT&T Entertainment Group (AEG) UX teams are looking for a talented UX designer to join our team to support current as well as next generation design of our multi-platform entertainment experiences.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1) Collaboration and creative brainstorming, ideation, rapid-prototyping, and other problem-solving with user experience and graphic designers, engineers, and other stakeholders on multiple projects. This includes strong collaboration and alignment with teams responsible for online and mobile experiences to ensure customers' needs are met across all media.

2) Documentation and delivery and/or contributing to create briefs, user scenarios and storyboards, text strings, flow charts, annotated wireframes, and other documentation that defines the user experience and providing direction to technical writers creating specification documents. 3) Works closely with our internal user researchers to support usability and focus group test plans as well as prototype support (paper or interactive prototypes, as appropriate).

4) Will serve as user advocate supporting features and products throughout the project lifecycle ensuring the best experience implemented.

5) Includes software development support, reviews, and presentations, ensuring high quality and deadlines are met.

TOP 5 SKILLS REQUIRED:

o 1. Minimum 3 year s experience designing for native app (iOS/Android)

o 2. User Research, Prototyping, and Wireframing: Understanding user needs, behaviors, and motivations through various research methods is crucial. The ability to translate this information to create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize and test design concepts is essential.

o 3. Interaction Design and Information Architecture: Proficiency in designing intuitive interfaces and organizing information logically ensures a seamless user experience.

o 4. Collaboration and Communication: Working effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, is vital.

o 5. Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking

The ability to analyze complex problems and devise creative solutions is key.

  • Degree or Certification in a human-centered design field or equivalent in design work experience. 8+ years practicing UX, product, or human-centered design.
  • 2+ years leading/mentoring other designers on your team.
  • Strong digital portfolio with compelling case studies with results. Portfolio should demonstrate your UX, and UI/visual design skills and clue us into your strategic thinking. Well qualified candidates will also have examples of mobile/native app experiences.
  • Experience in mobile product design for different mobile devices and platforms (Android, iOS, React Native; web a plus.)
  • Deep understanding of UX best practices.
  • Knowledgeable in creating usable, accessible, and modular designs that can scale to millions of users.
  • Skilled in prototyping.
  • Software proficiency (Figma, Sketch, and InVision; Adobe Design Suite; Prototyping software a plus)
  • Familiarity with UX Research a plus
