What Will You Do?

As the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for leading the Talent Acquisition (aka Recruiting) function for GSI, Access Limited & Roadguard Companies. You lead a team of Recruiters and TA Specialists focused on specific client groups across all three major lines of business, including, but not limited to, Sales, Engineering, Construction Operations and Backoffice roles (Finance, HR, Legal & Compliance, etc.).

This role will also serve as an Executive recruiter role for all Dir and above positions across the companies.

This role will also be deeply focused on process improvement and be adept at using data to drive better candidate response, higher quality talent as well as faster cycle time.

We emphasize collaboration and teamwork and offer a hybrid work setting to allow for maximum team effectiveness which includes the working at home two days a week to support work and home balance.

Responsibilities

How will you influence success?

Strategy:

  • Consult/collaborate with across the People & Talent functions to identify what the organizations critical talent needs are and turn that into an annual workforce plan with associated target profiles
  • Determine a strategy for use of sourcing tools and platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc) that helps establish a strong employment brand in the marketplace.
  • Build relationships with preferred applicant resources including veterans agencies, college placement centers, trade schools, and related organizations

Process/Program Management:

  • Use a mixture of technology and efficient human process to create a high-touch candidate experience that can scale with organizational growth
  • Establish and codify standard work across the full cycle recruiting process from intake to offer
  • Use data to inform the asses the current state of performance in Talent Acquisition and help form new strategies ahead of underperformance
  • Apply a Continuous Improvement mindset to track and review KPIs (candidate funnel health, time to fill and quality of hire, etc.) and make procedural changes with a focus for improvement

Team Leadership:

  • Lead a team of recruiters and specialists (both permanent and contract) roles to flex to the needs, volume and pace of hiring across all companies
  • Develop strong partners that are valued across their client groups for delivering strong talent and for developing expertise in the unique talent profiles required for our roles
  • Apply the same high standards and rigor for hiring and managing the TA team as you would expect from your clients for their groups/departments
  • Develop a sales spirit of collaborative competition that leans into both activities (outreach, response rate, interviews, offers) as well as outcomes (accepts, retention, promotion)

Qualifications

What Factors likely determine your Success?

Required:

  • Bachelor s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of leading a team of recruiters in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience in executive full-cycle recruiting intake, sourcing, screening for cultural and technical fit, coordinating team interviews, calibration and offer
  • Demonstrated leadership in the talent acquisition function overall, influencing positive outcomes and improved team performance in a growth-oriented organization
  • Strong desire to innovative the tools and processes in Talent Acquisition
  • Desire to align with Team Performance objectives and drive for success
  • Strong use of technology (applicant tracking, career websites, AI overlay to attract applicants, etc.) to ensure robust pipelines of engaged and qualified talent
  • Experience with employment branding and marketing tools (social media, etc.) to boost visibility
  • Data driven with proven experience improving recruiting KPIs (time to fill, quality of hire, <6mo retention, etc.) and funnel management
  • Experience in Executive Recruiting

Preferred:

  • Lean Continuous Improvement experience
  • Experience with Korn Ferry Interview Architect
  • Experience with both volume recruiting (lower skill, high volume placements) as well as professional recruiting (engineers, sales, etc.)
  • Demonstrated consultative and solution-oriented approach to recruitment search engagements
  • Experience working in a service focused organization of comparable size and complexity

Base salary*: $105,000.00 to $125,000.00

*This base salary range is used nationally. The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, skillset, market conditions, location, etc.
