- Oversee all functions of project estimating for multiple ongoing bids including Ground-up, Remodels,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Soliciting & Tracking of Subcontractor/Supplier proposals
- Perform accurate project take-offs
- Manage plans, specifications, & addendums
- Managing a database of preferred vendors
- Negotiating with Suppliers & Subcontractors
- Perform complex analysis of subcontractor estimates
- Request bid, payment, & performance bonds
- Meeting with upper management for bid review and submission
- 5+ Years’ experience in Construction Project Estimating
- Degree from accredited University in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar program.
- Must be familiar with construction means, methods, & terminology.
- Must have knowledge of Florida Lien Law and AIA documents.
- Proficient in Procore, Take-off Software & Microsoft Office.
- Must be willing to travel to projects when needed. Overnight stay may be required.
- Experience with project management is a plus.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills are required
