TECHNICAL SENIOR SYSTEMS ANALYST SQL / API INTEGRATION NH or RI -
The Role

We are in search of an accomplished Principal Systems Analyst to join a dynamic squad dedicated to the expansion of our Managed Account product line. In this role, the ideal candidate will engage in close collaboration with developers, product area / squad leaders, operations, and business partners, actively contributing to the modernization of our technology landscape and the improvement of operational efficiency.
The Systems Analyst will own the design of sophisticated software applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards and align seamlessly with our organizational norms. Responsibilities include analyzing both current and new business and technical processes, identifying system interfaces and dependencies, and documenting process and system flows. You will also analyze and reverse-engineer existing and new applications, translate their functions, and help develop clear technical specifications.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Expert level systems analysis experience in business critical, sophisticated applications. Knowledge of Asset Management would be a huge advantage, with a background in business facing tooling.
- Sophisticated analysis expertise of end-to-end processes, using tools and techniques for communicating and analyzing data including, rest API technologies, SQL, JSON, Postman/Insomnia
- Current hands-on experience writing SQL queries and joining multiple data sets. Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Oracle and non-SQL databases strongly preferred.
- Data-driven and can measure, collect, and use data to make decisions. We understand the value of intuition and the need to balance decisions accordingly.
- Highly analytical and can assess magnitude and impact of the work, down to the story level.
- Strong analytical, facilitation and communication skills including written, verbal, and technology illustrations.
- Knowledge of basic Java within the development ecosystem or similar technologies is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal and communication skills with technical expertise to drive outcomes and impactfully influence others.
- Expertise in defining test cases at the right level of detail and define test cases and ensure acceptance criteria matches real business value i.e., ensure we are testing the right things.
- Passion to provide guidance on standard methodologies and mentoring support to the other Systems Analysts as our team grows.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, with a focus on AWS, including familiarity with cloud migration strategies and tools.

*REQUIRED SKILLS*
Must be able to deconstruct and understand how the entire application works from front to back. Zero functional requirements for this role, heavily technical and aligned with developer. THIS IS NOT A BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST. IT IS PURE SYSTEMS ANALYSIS aligned with a development team. Seeking highly technical candidates here.
Need to have good communication skills along with the following technical expertise
1) SQL
-->Need someone technical who can write intermediate to advanced SQL queries, do some analysis on API s (which data is supposed to be passed back and forth and document with the team data mapping from front to back).
-->Joining data in multiple data sets (must be moderate to advanced proficiency with SQL)
2) API Integration through a third-party vendor (80% of the work will be here) must be able to navigate hard conversations with a challenging vendor
-->Ideally coming from a development background, but is looking to go into analysis
3) Should have experience with fairly complex UI s (ex. Complex business rules i.e. what type of customer is it? What kind of rules are there for each user? How does it integrate with other Fidelity systems?)
4) Strong follow-up / proactively solving problems / leading solutions
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
