Job Description:
Pay Range: $77.92hr - $82.92hr
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver technology guidance in response to project challenges, providing concrete solutions to complex issues spanning across multiple organizations.
  • Guarantee and promote the right usage of group s IT standards for Processes, Applications and Infrastructure environments.
  • Leverage the existing Portfolio of digital products, catalogue of services and promotes the usage of existing building blocks.
  • Maintain a strong network with the architect community and technology teams, to promote standard technology adoption and architecture best practices.
  • Design and produce design documents and solution roadmaps showing the states of transition.
  • Verify the consideration of non-functional requirements as part of the product backlog.
  • Orchestrate the delivery of interconnected technology components through the solution lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the prioritization of technology enablers in solution roadmaps.
  • Work in close collaboration with Business, Technology and Product stakeholders to contextualize the architecture design.
  • Remain up to date on company s standards, IT industry practices and emerging standards.
  • Contribute to strategies on technology debt redressal, technology obsolescence mitigation for effective life cycle management of business applications.
  • Orchestrate delivery of application architecture designs leveraging standard practices for applications under life cycle management.
  • Leverage architecture skills for application rationalization assessing business processes alignment to rationalize application portfolio.
  • The Solution Architect in this role will be responsible for comprehensive solutions to support and facilitate business operations.
  • The architect will be accountable for the relevant selection and usage of IT components and standards (security, technical product) in alignment with the technology Strategy and Enterprise Architecture policies and guidelines.
  • Working with Digital unit team such as Digital Corporate Functions, Digital Products and Digital Technologies.
  • The Architect will drive the standardization and simplification of technologies implemented across digital products.
  • Provide a comprehensive perspective, cover all layers of the information system from infrastructure to the user experience layer, be the design authority aligning teams to enterprise level desired states and will remove silos between functions or business units while being accountable for keeping technical debt under control.
  • The architect in this role will work with the Portfolio review team on the prioritized list of opportunities and rationalization products to achieve the following outcomes.
  • Rationalize the Application Portfolio to better serve business needs with increased agility and less complexity.
  • Optimize the total cost of ownership to continually prioritize investments towards innovation.
  • Strive for compelling data in trusted sources relying on robust application lifecycle management.
  • Reduction of digital vulnerabilities by managing obsolescence to reach acceptable risk levels.
  • Incrementally roll out Portfolio review MVPs to Digital units and enable the evolution of products.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.
  • Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar, preferred.
Skills and competencies:
  • Advanced proficiency in Solution Architecture, Application Design, Integration and Enterprise Architecture concepts.
  • Proficiency in emerging Digital trends, Technologies and Agile methodologies.
  • Prior experience working with platforms such as ServiceNow, Concur, Workday, HR/Legal/Finance systems, ERP, AWS, Informatica or similar, identifying gaps, unifying processes, delivering design/architecture to optimize the use of assets and improve efficiencies.
  • Competency in influencing, strategic thinking, problem-solving leading to sound architecture decision making.
