Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- As a Lead Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will develop and deliver the next generation of Gas Power Systems and Power Services Products and maximize the value of each product across the full product lifecycle.
- Serve as an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer with focus on Combustion components in a highly cross-functional environment with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, product management and suppliers to optimize manufacturability and component cost
- Serve as a technical process expert for complex problems across a diverse supply chain partnering with stakeholders to solve business critical issues
- Own component producibility from conceptual design through stable production
- Manufacturing technical expert for NPI process development and qualification across the full router of the part at both external suppliers and internal factories
- NPI fulfillment - on time delivery with quality
- Drive the part cost considering design, sourcing, and manufacturing
- Awareness of new technology and advanced manufacturing techniques that relate to your components
- Responsible for management of component investment and expense
- Understand and communicate design change risks and impacts prior to implementation
- Perform related duties as necessary
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university
- 3+ years of engineering/manufacturing/sourcing experience

- Demonstrated ability to manufacture or engineer out cost/cycle and improve product quality/performance
- Technical knowledge and experience in gas turbines
- Ability to act with humility: embrace culture of respect and active listening with a diverse team
- Ability to lead with transparency: embrace candor; share information to solve problems; develop team members
- Ability to deliver with focus: put safety first; prioritize and maximize impact; continuously improve processes while measuring success from the eyes of our customers.
- Strong project management skills and detail-orientation
- Master's Degree in engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university
- Six Sigma training or equivalent quality training
