In this role, you'll join an Agile Scrum team responsible for the design and development of real-time embedded systems for automated cutting and assembly machinery. The Software Developer Intern will lead and participate in all areas of development including design, coding, and testing in collaboration with the team.

Job Description
In this role, you'll join an Agile Scrum team responsible for the design and development of real-time embedded systems for automated cutting and assembly machinery. The Software Developer Intern will lead and participate in all areas of development including design, coding, and testing in collaboration with the team.
Core Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of a new machine monitoring system, leveraging AI/ML to enhance data insights and predictive capabilities.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize features for tracking and maintenance predictions
- Understand and follow the Agile methodology and scrum processes
- Implement ML/AI models to analyze machine data for trends and predictive insights
- Design and implementation of interactive UI components using web-based technologies
- Exposure to Agile methodology and collaborative development practices within a software development team
- Fundamentals of AI/ML role in data analysis and predictive maintenance.
- Critical Thinking & Decision Making: Ability to make logical and sound decisions and to know when to act independently and when to seek assistance
- Curiosity & Learning Orientation: Actively identifying new areas for learning and applying newly gained knowledge/skill on the job
- Drive to Excel: Driven to succeed and willing to go the extra mile. Perseveres in the face of obstacles and challenges
- Interpersonal Skills & communication: Ability to work collaboratively and partner well with others, express oneself verbally and in writing, and listen well
- Rising Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer, Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or similar, with an interest in web development and AI/ML applications.
- Familiarity with web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue.js) is a plus.
