We are seeking a skilled and experienced Advanced Network Engineer to join our team!

Responsibilities:
Conduct deep packet analysis to develop traffic profiles for tactical as well as enterprise networks
Conduct root cause analysis of networks as well as Department of Defense command and control applications
Establish application network profile baselines and traffic flow network profiles
Develop tools to accelerate network analysis reporting
Provide network efficiency/improvement recommendations
Design and implement local area network (LAN), wide area networks (WAN) and campus wide networks (CAN) for tactical and garrison environments
Design, implement and manage wireless and software defined networks
Perform cybersecurity hardening and security monitoring on network infrastructures (STIGs, patching, ACAS scanning, etc.)
Perform Systems administration (e.g., MS Windows, RedHat, etc.)
Perform Virtual Systems Development/Administration (VMware vCloud)
Perform Security administration (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.)
Perform Network administration (Cisco, Arista, Wireless, IPv4/v6 etc.)
Research, evaluate, and report on current and emerging networking, virtualization, storage technologies and Software as Service (SaaS) platforms
Provide network design and implementation for developmental, operational, and integrated tests and evaluations of USMC and Joint Service C5I systems
Develop technical documentation, how-to guides, Tech Notes and Network Diagrams that detail lessons learned, network design, network configurations or other technical information
Develop Network Capture/Analysis Plans and Technical Reports based on the Analysis
Design and implement Network Modeling based on Fleet Marine Force Tactical and Garrison network architectures and topologies
Validate functionality of models by utilizing simulation and stimulation tools
Create Model analysis plans and document procedures while specifying any assumptions, limitations, unique attributes, and technical details
Provide technical management, coordination of task activities, and administrative support
Qualifications:
Minimum Position Requirements:
Documented advanced network training and 7 + years of demonstrated network engineering experience
CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DOD IAT Level 2 security certification
Cisco Certified Network Associate
Certified in Wireshark Certified Network Analyst or RCPE Professional Packet Analyzer Plus
Experience with VMware (vCloud)
Experience with Data Storage technologies
Experience with System Administration of MS Windows Server or Linux
Experience with Security Boundary Technologies e.g., firewalls and IDS/IPS
Experience with Network Modeling applications/tools (ex: GNS3)
Experience with a Scripting Language (ex: Perl, Python, PowerShell, Linux Shell, etc.)
Desired Position Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related Information Technology
Cisco Certified Networking Professional or Cisco Certified Design Professional
(Route/Switch)
VMware Certified Professional Cloud Specialist
Certification in a Network Operating System (ex: MS Windows Server, Linux, etc.)
Certification in IPv6
