The Index Data Acquisition team is responsible for providing a platform to gather and enrich huge amounts of data from internal and external data providers to calculate the Bloomberg Fixed Income indices.

Salary Range = 00 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.

The Index Data Acquisition team is responsible for providing a platform to gather and enrich huge amounts of data from internal and external data providers to calculate the Bloomberg Fixed Income indices.
We'll trust you to:
- Take ownership of all aspects of the software development process in collaboration with your teammates in an agile environment
- Design well architected systems
- Develop high quality, stable and scalable solutions using a test driven approach
- Be creative in solving complex problems while understanding the scope and impact of your work
- Collaborate closely with our Product counterparts as well as other Engineering teams
You'll need to have:
- 4+ years working with an object-oriented programming language such as Python or C++
- A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, similar field of study or equivalent work experience
- Experience with containerization and CI/CD solutions (e.g. Docker, Devise)
- A passion for automating manual processes
- A passion to learn about finance (previous experience is a bonus - but if not, we'll teach you)
- Flexible problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with peers, partners and management
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to adjust the degree of detail to the target audience
We'd love to see:
- Experience working with Python 3, C++17
- A desire to learn new technologies and apply them where appropriate to improve the quality of our software, stability, and processes
