We re looking for a passionate Mid-Level PKI Analyst to join our team and support systems integration and sustainment activities for mission-critical projects.

Job Overview:

RedMatter Solutions is seeking a Mid-Level PKI Analyst to support PKI-related systems integration, application testing, and requirements development. The ideal candidate will have experience in both the implementation and sustainment of PKI systems, with a focus on testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining secure, scalable, and efficient environments. This role is based in Rosslyn, VA, and involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration, deployment, and continuous support of PKI systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide knowledge and support for Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) implementations, focusing on the integration and sustainment of complex systems.
  • Support system integration and testing efforts for PKI components and related applications.
  • Participate in requirements development and refinement for PKI-related systems and applications, working closely with stakeholders to gather and document technical and business needs.
  • Conduct application testing, including functional, performance, and security testing, to ensure PKI systems are operating as expected.
  • Lead the implementation and sustainment of PKI systems, ensuring they are aligned with organizational security policies and government standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve PKI-related issues, ensuring the systems are operating securely and efficiently.
  • Ensure PKI systems meet or exceed compliance with government regulations and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security analysts, engineers, and developers, to implement and maintain PKI infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and operational procedures.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and expertise for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of PKI systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with PKI systems, systems integration, and systems sustainment.
  • Strong understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), including certificate authorities, digital certificates, and secure key management.
  • Hands-on experience in system integration and application testing in complex IT environments.
  • Experience in requirements development and translating business needs into technical requirements.
  • Familiarity with systems implementation and post-implementation sustainment for secure environments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve PKI-related issues in a secure environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and how they apply to PKI systems.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Active secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with DoD or federal government security standards and regulations related to PKI.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
