Business Intelligence Data Analyst

6 month contract to hire

Remote - Dallas/Plano TX

Must haves:

- SQL, experience with a visualization tool (Domo is preferred, but this can be Tableau or Power BI as well), understanding of data modeling/architecture

Responsibilities:

- Frequently perform ad hoc analyses, including conceptualization, data gathering, analysis, presentation, and monitoring.

- Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions

- Develops and delivers operational performance reporting of results against the organization’s KPIs on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cadences

- Work with large datasets to investigate key business trends, performance, issues, and behaviors

- Continually identify and execute process improvements

- Act as subject matter expert on the organization’s electronic health record system, data lifecycle, and reporting tools

- Provide strategic guidance to business teams on how to best leverage these resources

- Create actionable insights and business intelligence from our business data

- Provide accurate and actionable data insights and analysis to support decision-makers

- Organize and present complex analyses in an actionable manner for business leaders

- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Business Operations to assess critical metrics, both pre and post-implementation

- Communicate and visualize results and recommendations concisely to leadership and cross-functional

stakeholders

- Develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams within the company and across platform partners

- Participate in technical projects for provider practices systems, including integration with add-on products necessary for satisfying regulatory measures or interfacing systems with third-party vendors.

Qualifications:

- B.S. degree in HIT, MIS, Computer Science, or related field, or an additional four years of equivalent healthcare IT experience in lieu of a degree

- 5+ years’ experience in business analytics

- DOMO BI experience is highly desired

- Extensive experience with T-SQL, Redshift, and other programming languages

- Extensive experience with ETL layer transform building and management

- Experience with deep data analysis and dashboarding tools

- Experience defining new reporting processes

- Strong analytical skills and an understanding of the appropriate statistical techniques to use in different circumstances

- Problem-solving / troubleshooting experience /skills to assist with resolution

- Proficient in the use of project management, word processing, flowcharting, and database applications

- Ability to work well in a cross-functional and cross-cultural team environment

- Excellent interpersonal written and oral communication skills
