Join Art of Problem Solving (AoPS) and become the driving force behind bringing cutting-edge learning solutions to schools nationwide. As a Sales Executive, you'll play a key role in expanding AoPS's reach, introducing our innovative products and services to educational institutions across your territory. You'll manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals and nurturing long-term partnerships.

The Sales Executive will:

  • Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies, contributing to national strategy while building a robust pipeline.
  • Qualify leads, conduct needs assessments, and deliver product demonstrations to communicate AoPS's value proposition.
  • Negotiate, close deals, and manage contract renewals, exploring cross-selling and upselling opportunities with existing clients.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in schools, ensuring smooth transitions to Account Managers post-sale.
  • Participate in marketing events and gather market intelligence to inform sales strategies and product development.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets while continuously enhancing product knowledge.
  • Adapt to both remote and in-person sales environments as needed.

The ideal candidate has:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 3+ years of sales experience
  • Experience working in educational technology is strongly preferred
  • Passion for integrating high-quality curriculum and resources into classrooms
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present, influence, and negotiate effectively
  • Proven track record of delivering client-focused solutions based on needs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of self-motivation with ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with educational software and web-based technology
  • CRM experience (especially Salesforce) preferred
  • Some travel required

Since 2003, we have trained hundreds of thousands of the country's top students, including nearly all the members of the US International Math Olympiad team, through our online school, in-person academies, textbooks, and online learning systems.
