Job Description
The Musco Information Technology Team is seeking a Senior Application Developer to work in Oskaloosa, Iowa. In this role, you are Responsible for working with assigned business areas to provide needed information and software tools to support business objectives. This includes software development, reporting, and ongoing maintenance. At this level, a comprehensive understanding of business objectives is expected along with a high level of programming skills. The ability to be a project lead while still performing programming requirements is expected. What you will do as a Senior Application Developer
- Analyze information requirements and determine an action plan
- Write, test, and debug computer software
- Access and report data as necessary
- Assist in the development of project schedules
- Execute project schedules
- Ensure installed software systems are properly maintained
- Provide timely end-user support as needed
- Mentor other developers in a Team environment
What you need to be successful
- Minimum Bachelor s degree in Computer Science-related field, Engineering field, and/or commensurate experience
- 6+ years of software development experience in a work environment and/or demonstrated aptitude
- Proficient in computer programming languages and development of software
- Experience with .NET Frameworks- C#, VB, JavaScript, and HTML; experience with Blazor is a plus
- Skilled in developing REST endpoints and APIs
- Experience and willingness to work with legacy systems and code
- Hands-on experience working end-to-end
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with self-directedness, while working within a Team
- Capable of working with data and information in a confidential manner
