We are seeking a Technical Service Application Development Engineer to lead internal and external mold trials, providing expertise in injection molding to support our growing business. This new role has been created due to continued growth and offers flexibility in location, anywhere in the Midwest or East Coast. Fully remote role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer-Centric Solutions: Leverage a deep understanding of customer needs to influence product development and optimize service improvements, ensuring alignment with market demands.
  • Technical Expertise: Apply your in-depth knowledge of injection molding processes and material science to deliver high-quality outcomes and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Product Trials: Lead and manage trials of new formulations, securing customer approvals and facilitating the successful introduction of new products.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data from molding processes and lab tests to drive continuous performance improvements and process optimizations.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex material and molding challenges, improving production efficiency and product quality.
  • Partnership Building: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers by addressing their needs proactively, driving customer satisfaction and fostering collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in injection molding, with a strong emphasis on innovative problem-solving and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in conducting product trials, ensuring optimal performance and quality standards.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with key customers, acting as a trusted advisor to meet their specific needs and exceed expectations.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed, demonstrating a commitment to providing on-site support and fostering long-term client relationships.
