Overview

Our client has a contract opportunity for a Python Developer on a multi-year project. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and support of full stack development for web backend and integration between products. Your expertise in Python programming, web technologies, and integration will be pivotal in delivering high-quality solutions. Additionally, you will troubleshoot complex Python problems, work with business analytics and reporting tools (preferably MicroStrategy), and demonstrate proficiency in JavaScript, particularly React.

This is an interesting project, focused on Global Health security, specifically preventing, detecting, and responding to infectious diseases. Work will be performed remotely but must be done during east coast hours. Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be s, able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Python libraries (Conda, Poetry, SQL Alchemy) in full stack development and integration projects.
  • 2+ years of experience troubleshooting complex Python problems and their interaction with other tools and systems.
  • 2+ years of experience with business analytics and reporting tools, preferably MicroStrategy.
  • 1+ years of experience with JavaScript, particularly React, for frontend development.
  • Proficiency in web server applications like IIS and Tomcat.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a learning attitude, and the ability to work independently and remotely.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Federal Health projects and/or global public health programs, specifically HIV/AIDs, and PEPFAR.
  • Knowledge of Rest API processes and architecture.
  • Foundational cloud implementation experience using AWS




Compensation

Competitive salary range of $125K-$160K, based on experience, qualifications, location, and certifications. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
