Happy Mama is a technology-equipped full spectrum doula practice, with a comprehensive, maternity support platform, personalized programs, education, guidance, coaching, and advocacy. We provide physical, mental, emotional, holistic, social, and economic support for women from preconception to 12 months postpartum.

Role Description
We are seeking compassionate, enthusiastic individuals to join our team of birth doulas. This role is ideal for those who have a natural ability to connect with people, are able to hold space for others and provide continuous unconditional support.
As a Doula at Happy Mama, you will provide support and guidance to pregnant women during childbirth and postpartum. Your tasks may include providing emotional and physical support during labor, offering newborn care assistance, supporting lactation, and providing overall labor support. You will play a crucial role in empowering and supporting the perinatal needs of women.
No previous experience in doula work is required, as we provide comprehensive paid training.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional, physical, and educational support to expectant mothers before, during, and after childbirth
- Assist in creating a positive and calm birthing environment
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for the mother and baby
- Offer non-clinical guidance, support, and education on prenatal, birth, and postnatal care
- Maintain flexible hours to accommodate the unpredictable nature of childbirth, including working weekends, evenings, and holidays
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Empathy and the ability to provide emotional support
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and provide physical, mental and emotional support during childbirth
