Description:
The IT Portfolio Manager is a key role focused on shaping and driving the strategic direction of the company's product portfolio in North America. This role involves leading the development and execution of both long-term and short-term strategies, ensuring cross-functional alignment, and overseeing the entire product lifecycle from a commercial perspective.
You will provide leadership & strategy for a group of IT professionals supporting a major organizational unit responsible for defining, developing, implementing, operating and supporting computer-based systems and related processes and tools that deliver capabilities to work more efficiently.
-Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
-Understands and contributes to organization's vision, goals and strategies.
-Aligns department priorities appropriately, determines critical success factors, evaluates and pursues initiatives, investments and opportunities based on fit with strategies.

-Ensure that IT solutions meets the needs of the business.
-Negotiate for and secures resources to meet the long-range operational demands of the area.
-Oversee and control department budgets, project capital/RCE expenditures & ROI: develop, monitor and meet expense and recovery plans; continually look for opportunities for cost reductions and cost avoidance.
-Manage IT investment for the function.
-Determine necessary mix of skill set. Confronts and deals with employee's issues in a constructive and timely manner.
-Establish and maintain high-quality relationships with all levels across the company and with external partners
-Manage shared services that span multiple virtual teams across the world and cross cultures.
Commercial Understanding:
-Demonstrate an understanding of business drivers and influence them to achieve flawless execution.
-Understand customer needs and operations.
Incorporate consumer and customer insights and trends into strategy and tactics.
Scenario Planning & Strategic Risk Management:
-Lead scenario planning efforts and identify strategic risks, developing mitigation strategies to ensure portfolio decisions are resilient and forward-looking.
Ad-Hoc strategic initiatives:
-lead and manage unique, high impact projects that arise outside of regular portfolio planning cycles, ensuring that these one-off initiatives are aligns to overall business.

-8+ years of overall experience, including 5 years of systems management experience; experience should also include project management, systems consulting, employee development, and strategic system planning.
-Strong analytical skills: ability to analyze data from a wide range of internal and external sources and translate these into powerful insights for Strategic decisions and tactical focus.
-Excellent presentation, communication, and motivational skills.
-Exceptional interpersonal skills for collaboration across functions; outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
-Experience with a wide variety of IT systems/Applications including but not limited to CRMs (salesforce, Veeva), websites, incentive compensation tools, etc
