The Manager, Digital Risk Operational Excellence reports into the Associate Director of Cybersecurity & Digital Risk Management and is responsible for collecting and analyzing data, developing and maintaining metrics and reports, and overseeing technology solutions to measure risk management performance. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of cybersecurity risks and trends. Additionally, manage the integration of data from various sources to provide comprehensive insights for decision-makers.

Responsibilities

Data Collection and Analysis:
  • Engage with various stakeholders across the organization to gather the necessary data required for comprehensive risk reporting. This involves regular communication and collaboration to ensure all relevant information is captured.
  • Collect and analyze data related to cybersecurity controls and digital risks across the enterprise. In support of identifying potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources to provide a holistic and comprehensive view of cybersecurity risks. This integration is crucial for senior leadership to understand the broader risk landscape and make informed decisions.


Metrics Development and Reporting:
  • Develop and maintain robust metrics that accurately measure and report on cybersecurity risks. These metrics are essential for evaluating the effectiveness of cybersecurity controls and ensuring they meet organizational standards.
  • Generate regular risk reports for decision-makers, providing comprehensive data points that explain risk levels and trends. These reports are critical for informing leadership about the current risk posture and guiding strategic decisions.


Dashboard Preparation and Maintenance:
  • Prepare and maintain interactive dashboards that provide real-time insights into cybersecurity metrics. These dashboards are designed to be user-friendly and accessible, enabling stakeholders to quickly understand key risk indicators.
  • Continuously update and refine these dashboards to ensure they remain relevant and effective. This involves incorporating new data sources and metrics as they become available.


Automation and Maintenance:
  • Automate the generation of risk reports and dashboards to streamline the processes of data collection, analysis, and reporting. Ensuring that these processes are efficient, timely, and accurate, reducing the potential for human error.
  • Maintain and update all reporting tools and dashboards to ensure they continue to meet the needs of the organization. This includes regular reviews and updates to incorporate the latest cybersecurity trends and data.


Risk Management Performance and Technology Oversight:
  • Oversee the risk management performance, ensuring that all risk management activities are conducted in alignment with the organization's Risk Management Framework.
  • Manage technology solutions that support the risk management process. This involves maintaining their functionality to enhance the overall risk management capabilities of the organization.


Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Experience in a similar role within a cybersecurity team.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection, integration, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining dashboards and reports.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Experience with automation tools and techniques.
  • Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments within the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and execute in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a strong work ethic and ownership mentality.
  • Strong Project Management Skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.


Education and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, is preferred.
