Cyber Lead Architect - Part time

Job Description:

• Design and Implementation:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security architectures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Design and oversee the deployment of security solutions, ensuring they align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Risk Management:
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize cyber risks across the organization.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and remediation plans to address identified vulnerabilities.
• Policy Development:
  • Create and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Incident Response:
  • Lead the incident response team in detecting, responding to, and recovering from security incidents.
  • Conduct post-incident analysis to improve future response efforts.
• Collaboration and Training:
  • Work closely with other departments to integrate security into all aspects of the business.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to educate staff on security best practices.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance the organization s security posture.

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption.
• Strong understanding of network architecture and protocols.

Analytical Skills:

• Ability to assess risks and vulnerabilities, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Proficiency in conducting security audits and assessments.

Leadership and Management:

• Experience in leading cybersecurity teams and managing projects.
• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Communication Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate with various teams and departments.

Certifications:

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CRISC are highly desirable.

Experience:

• Typically, 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on risk management and remediation
