  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER INTERN POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Work directly with Software Development Engineer to add experience to your school curriculum. This is a part time, paid internship, working in a manufacturing office. Hours can be flexible to accommodate classes.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER INTERN KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and implement web applications using React.js and JavaScript.

Assist in automating tasks and processes using C# and VB.NET.

Work with CAD software to support automation and integration into web applications.

Participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Contribute to both front-end and back-end development tasks, gaining experience in full-stack development.

Work on the integration of CAD tools with custom-built software solutions.

Document code, processes, and provide support for the deployment of applications

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER INTERN EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Solid understanding of programming languages such as React.js, JavaScript, C#, and VB.NET

Familiarity with web development concepts including HTML, CSS, and responsive design

Basic experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and its integration into software solutions

Basic knowledge of automation principles and experience with scripting or automation tools is a plus

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and adapt
