Description of Project

At a high level, the resources will have the experience to assume immediate responsibility for (new and active) large and technically complex projects which impact current processes. The team must develop flexible and efficient plans and collaborate with matrixed project teams with multiple priorities while simultaneously fostering an environment of team building and coordination. A large portion of ongoing responsibilities revolve around interpreting and mitigating security vulnerability reports generated by internal scans as well as partnered audits. Mitigation strategies range from standard patching planning to highly technical solutions implemented at the middleware, web server, or load balancer level. Contracted admins will be responsible for directly implementing solutions at all tiers.

It is MNIT's on-going commitment to provide technology solutions that are reliable and flexible enough to meet fluctuating customer demand and increasing expectation of 7x24x365 system availability, all while decreasing on-going support expenses. DHS does not anticipate that the Integration/Middleware Administrators will need access to private data on individuals or protected health information, and therefore does not anticipate that vendor will need to enter a business associate or data sharing agreement with DHS.
