Role Overview:
Seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with expertise in public cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure. This role involves the design, deployment, configuration, and optimization of resources within the Azure cloud environment.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Design and implement Azure technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, ARM templates, Blueprints, and policies.

  • Develop deployment policies based on criteria like location and governance.

  • Determine tools and procedures for cloud management and monitoring.

  • Manage cloud resource costs and ensure adherence to security standards.

  • Assist in incident response and collaborate with IT Security on cyber threats.

  • Evaluate cloud infrastructure for IT projects and support IT process standardization.

  • Integrate monitoring and security tools with cloud environments.

  • Address network connectivity in hybrid cloud setups.

  • Monitor security systems and manage logs to identify resource constraints.

  • Troubleshoot network and infrastructure issues; conduct Root Cause Analysis.


Qualifications:



  • Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure, including sizing and capacity management.

  • Expertise as a Subject Matter Expert for cloud services.

  • Familiarity with cloud deployment orchestration and automation.

  • Proficient in secure infrastructure solutions and enterprise architecture design.

  • Strong skills in cloud backup, disaster recovery, and virtual infrastructure implementation.

  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server, VMware, PKI, and RADIUS authentication.

  • PowerShell scripting experience is a plus.

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Strong troubleshooting abilities and self-motivated to learn new technologies.

  • Willingness to work non-business hours as needed; participate in on-call rotation.

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Microsoft Azure certification preferred.
