The Opportunity:

As a Scrum Master, you're passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that's modernizing and creating efficiency in critical projects. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need a Scrum Master like you to create solutions that'll support the next generation of advanced public health information te chn ology solutions.

On our team, you'll apply your functional knowledge to coach a development team to focus on sprint goals, ensuring the project is successfully progressed. You'll apply basic Scrum principles and concepts to resolve routine problems. Using Agile tools, you'll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish Program Increment Objectives and Features. In this role, you'll directly impact the public health environment by working alongside our clients to deliver impactful solutions. This is an opportunity to grow your experience in IT project management and Agile project management while developing and contributing to a variety of project solutions that will ensure success for the delivery of services in support of public health.

You Have:
  • 3+ years of professional working experience
  • Experience as a Scrum Master serving Agile teams
  • Experience with Agile sof tware project management tools, including JIRA or Azure DevOps
  • Experience with facilitating daily stand-up calls, backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, road mapping, and requirements sessions
  • Knowledge of project management framework
  • Knowledge of sof tware development or software integration and delivery processes
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Agile or Scrum certification


Nice If You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience with supporting public health projects
  • Experience as a Business Analyst
  • Ability to coach a team to better outcomes using process improvement
  • Ability to work independently or with minimal direction
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Possession of excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
