Summary

Develops and oversees a smooth and seamless new hire experience for all newly hired employees that provides them with autonomy, tools, and resources needed for assimilation into the LHC Group culture and feel supported from the first touch point through one year of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Works with hiring managers, Regional Vice Presidents, Division Presidents, Human Resources, Training and Development, and IT to take ownership of each candidate in a timely fashion once an employee has accepted an offer of employment.
  • Is responsible for the development and maintenance of the new hire orientation surveys and all associated content from responses.
  • Acts as a dependable, responsive point of contact for new hires and other internal stakeholders, while maintaining effective communications and follow-through from day 1 through end of year 1.
  • Resolves in a timely fashion any delays or obstacles in the onboarding, orientation, or any new hire related process, including reminders to the new hires and requesting any missing information.
  • Proactively reviews all new hire orientation tracking reports for participation; addresses concerns directly or gets the concerns to the correct internal leader to assist.
  • Guides leaders in setting up The New Hire Orientation for all new hires.
  • Partners with respective area on identifying and ensuring effective preceptor training.
  • Creates Key Predictive Indicators (KPIs) to measure success of the new hire experience (i.e. new hire survey results, new hire round tables, new hire turnover, etc.)
  • Continually researches, benchmarks, and proposes ways to optimize the new employee experience.
  • Participates in special project assignments to develop world class processes and tools for employee experience.
  • Continue to optimize communication and listening tools (i.e. surveys, checklists).
  • Participate in virtual orientation process including new hire welcome, tools, etc.
  • Develop and maintain new employee portal to support new hires in their year 1 journey.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.


Education And Experience

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of customer service or Human Resources experience
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
