  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Title: Software Engineer (Delphi/C#)
Location: Fully Remote (Preference for candidates located in East Coast cities)
Working Hours: 9:30 AM 5:30 PM EST

Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer with 1-2 years of experience who has a solid foundation in Delphi and is eager to work in a dynamic environment. You will be part of a team focused on creating, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions in the banking and retail sectors, with a preference for those with experience in POS (Point of Sale) systems. This is a fully remote role, but the working hours will align with EST.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop software solutions, with a focus on Delphi.
  • Maintain and enhance existing software applications in Delphi, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Support code integration and troubleshooting across multiple technologies (C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Objective-C) when necessary.
  • Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and technical discussions to contribute to overall project success.
  • Assist with identifying and addressing potential technical challenges in the software development lifecycle.
  • Work independently on assigned tasks while being a strong team player in collaborative settings.

Technical Skills:

  • Delphi (Experience in Delphi 5 or Delphi 10 preferred, but any Delphi experience is acceptable and required).
  • Experience in C# is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Java/JavaScript, TypeScript, or Objective-C is a bonus.

Preferred Industry Background:

  • Experience in banking or retail, particularly with POS (Point of Sale) systems, is highly desirable.

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to approach complex problems with empathy, thoughtfulness, and a positive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team and with cross-functional partners.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred but not required if you have relevant work experience.
