Description
As a DC-DC power system designer, you will be driving innovative power circuit designs and system level partitioning from concept investigation and design through successful product level implementation.- Work with system and power architects on CPU/GPU computer system architecture investigations using single-phase and multi-phase dc-dc voltage regulators.- Apply technical rigor to analyze design tradeoffs including system performance, power consumption & efficiency, physical size, cost, carbon footprint and scalability.- Own power circuit schematic and BOM. Work with PCB layout team.- Develop new components with integrated circuit, capacitor and inductor vendors.- Validate prototypes and perform competitive bench marking through lab testing.- Provide technical support for production issues debug and resolutions.- Conduct DC-DC power seminars and training for multi-functional teams.- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior DCDC engineers.- Spearhead innovation via exemplary behavior and collaboration.
