Position Summary

The QA Automation Engineer will work closely with the engineering and product teams to develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated tests across the TicketOS platform. This role requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of owning the entire QA process. The QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the TicketOS platform meet high standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases and scenarios for both manual and automated testing
• Design and implement end-to-end automated test scripts using tools like Katalon Studio, Selenium, or similar test development platforms
• Execute test cases to ensure the quality of the TicketOS platform across various browsers and environments
• Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs, and work with the engineering team to resolve issues
• Perform regression testing on resolved bugs and implemented features
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, operations) to understand feature requirements and test accordingly
• Develop a framework for continuous testing and integrate it with the CI/CD pipeline
• Conduct performance, load, and stress testing where required
• Act as the sole QA resource within the organization, setting up best practices, tools, and processes for quality assurance
• Provide detailed reports on test results and quality metrics to stakeholders

Qualifications

<>Required</>

• 5+ years of experience in QA, with a focus on test automation
• Proven ability to create and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing
• Fluency in Katalon Studio, Selenium, or other similar test automation tools
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with automated test frameworks and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Strong knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser dev tools
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take ownership of QA initiatives
• Analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
• Experience in the event entertainment or ticketing space
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman
