This pivotal role involves leading a team of video codec and system software engineers, working on a wide range of use cases with diverse cross-functional groups within Apple's dynamic environment. The primary objective is to drive the development and productization of the complex Apple's Video Encoder and Media Engine SW stack across most of both existing and future Apple products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in these areas, along with a proven track record in managing teams to achieve exceptional results in a collaborative setting.

Description

This position requires a candidate with leadership, vision, creative & analytic skills, a passion for latest video coding and processing technologies. Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:- Lead the implementation and productization of the embedded software for Apple's Video Encoder and Media Engine - Collaborate with hardware/software/infrastructure architects to define and implement media features and algorithms for future products

Pay & Benefits

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $164,200 and $285,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
