Database Developer/ Programmer $85k-$95k

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Open ERP System Administrator responsible for the operation, customization, and maintenance of our company s Open ERP system. On site ((36 hrs / week)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Customize and control Open ERP systems using Python to meet manufacturing requirements.
• Design custom reports (e.g., accounting, manufacturing).
• Manage user account information, including rights, security, and systems groups (NetIQ, eDirectory).
• Collaborate closely with the IT Manager and Technician(s).
• Provide regular status reports and gather requirements from various departments to inform infrastructure decisions.
• Administer, implement, and maintain the Open ERP database, ensuring its integrity and security.
• Ensure compliance with software licenses.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in SQL, XML, and Python is required.
• B.S. in Computer Science with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience preferred, OR an A.S. in Computer Science with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in system administration within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Linux-based operating systems (SuSE, Red Hat, Ubuntu) and Microsoft Windows.
• Knowledge of networking (PoE, LACP, DNS, DHCP, NTP, SIP, FTP, Telnet) is a plus.
• Understanding of DOS Shell and Linux Shell languages is a plus.
• Familiarity with Micro Focus Zenworks is a plus.
• Experience with Odoo (formerly OpenERP), C#, JavaScript, and GIT is a plus.

Work Environment:

• All work is performed on-site at the company s facility (no remote work).
• Climate-controlled office environment.
• Ability to stand or sit for the duration of the shift
