We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Commissioning Manager to join our Client's leadership team. This is a permanent role with a dynamic and respected construction and engineering company known for delivering large-scale infrastructure, energy, and industrial projects. The successful candidate will oversee commissioning activities for major ongoing projects in a single location, crossing multiple divisions. The projects span regions in Colorado, Nebraska, Tennessee, and New Mexico.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the commissioning process, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from planning to handover.
  • Provide leadership for project teams, coordinating with construction, engineering, and operations teams to ensure project goals are met.
  • Develop and implement commissioning plans, testing, and quality assurance processes to ensure systems are fully operational and meet client specifications.
  • Oversee budget management, schedule adherence, and safety protocols during the commissioning phase.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all commissioning activities, communicating progress and resolving issues with internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts, managing technical challenges, and optimizing system performance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and health & safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in a senior-level commissioning or project leadership role within the construction or engineering industries.
  • Proven expertise in managing full life cycle commissioning projects across multiple sectors (infrastructure, energy, industrial, or transportation preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of commissioning processes, testing, and quality assurance for large-scale projects.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing commissioning budgets, timelines, and safety protocols.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities and experience in addressing technical and operational challenges during commissioning.
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
