Rylee + Cru Collective is a global children’s apparel company focusing on baby, children, and women that features hand-drawn illustrations and timeless silhouettes. Our three brands within the Collective – Rylee + Cru, Quincy Mae, and Noralee-are known for their commitment to sustainability, quality, and unique design.

We're looking for a passionate, creative, eager Social Media Coordinator to support the marketing team in planning and executing social media initiatives, creating content, and managing our social platforms. This person should love fashion and be a self-starter with a strong desire to gain marketing experience within the apparel industry. You’ll work directly with our Marketing Manager and creative team with social media + digital marketing (posting on social, assisting with In-App editing (reel and tiktok style videos), capturing iPhone BTS at photoshoots, and be passionate about creating content that will be exciting for the viewer and true to our brand.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with in-house marketing + content team to help conceptualize, plan, produce, and publish engaging social media content that tells the brand story
  • Help strategize, develop, schedule, and post content on all social media platforms
  • In-app content editing
  • Community management including insiders groups, reviews, comments, mentions, and relevant content.
  • Research competitive landscape and bring fresh ideas
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance
  • Assist at photoshoots in capturing additional content– like behind-the-scenes photos, video footage, and other content relevant to social media (boomerangs, reels, etc)
  • Must be willing to wear multiple hats, be flexible, and pitch in whenever and wherever needed to get the job done

Requirements:

  • Positive energy + an eagerness to learn
  • Scroll Tiktok + Instagram for personal use (aware of trends in the industry and ready to bring them to life in our way)
  • Confidence to share and pitch content ideas

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to adapt writing styles to suit our brand's voice and tone
  • Ability to meet deadlines and post social media accounts in real-time, with little need for oversight
  • Content creation experience such as video creation and editing, photo editing, etc
  • Passion for social media marketing + marketing strategies
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or equivalent experience preferred
  • Must be located in San Diego and willing to work in-office
