Senior Salesforce Administrator

Palmer Group is partnering with an Employee-Owned company in the search to fill their Senior Salesforce Administrator position. This role is responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our CRM platform and other business solutions. This role involves evaluating and enhancing Salesforce security, developing and fixing contact merge processes, creating best practices for upgrades, mentoring junior administrators, and providing flexible coding and development support. What you will do:

• Evaluate and enhance Salesforce security capabilities
• Develop and fix the contact merge process, moving towards out-of-the-box capabilities
• Create best practices and processes for Salesforce upgrades
• Mentor junior Salesforce Admins, guiding user management and report cleanup
• Provide flexible coding and development support, including APEX and GeoPointe
• Collaborate with developers and business units to ensure effective system integration and data exchange
• Perform routine administrative tasks such as user account maintenance, reports, dashboards, roles, profiles, permissions, and workflows
• Act as a liaison between users, vendors, and development teams
• Test and approve system changes prior to deployment

What you will need to be successful:

• Bachelor s degree in information technology, business administration, or a related field
• Five years of experience with Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with business CRM processes such as pipeline management, case management, account management, reports and dashboards, forecasting, and campaign management
• Experience managing Salesforce administrative tasks, including user configuration, roles, profiles, page layouts, workflow rules, email services, reports, and dashboards
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
• Marketing Cloud Administrator and Salesforce Advanced Administrator certifications are preferred
• Insurance experience preferred
