Job Description:

Title: Sr Security Engineer

Duration: 6+ months

Location: Remote (PST Hours)

Responsibilities:

Build, configure, and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other network appliances.

Detailed understanding of cyber security methodologies Conduct network capacity planning, performance monitoring, and optimization to ensure high availability and optimal network performance.

Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewall configurations, access controls, and intrusion detection systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate network requirements into scalable and efficient network designs.

Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior network engineers and support teams.

Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network infrastructure with other systems and technologies.

In-depth knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, VPNs, and QoS.

Experience with network design and architecture, including high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery planning.

Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.

Familiarity with Infoblox or other IP address management (IPAM) solutions.

Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent will be highly beneficial.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.
