Position Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to support Fortune 500 and 1000 customers, and to excel within a fantastic team. This role is the primary architecture lead for activities in the Envision, Plan, Build, Stabilize, and Deploy phases of the Greenfield design and migration architecture. The role provides architectural leadership and expertise for the workstreams, guiding and developing architecture and consolidation solutions through collaboration with the BHE AD Lead Architect and Engineer in the development of requirements, design decisions, architectural and implementation plans, and other related activities relevant to the phases within each workstream.

Responsibilities (All):
Provide subject matter expertise in support of a fast-paced Active Directory migration
Provide subject matter knowledge and expertise on Microsoft Azure and Azure AD services
Identify and interview stakeholders to develop and document organizational requirements Discover existing infrastructure and AD-aware ecosystem and establish a clear scope of the effort
Analyze findings and present data and recommendations to project sponsors and decision makers
Design end-state architecture, migration plan, validation plan, and cutover plan and assist in the development of the migration project plan
Perform pilot migration plan for users, groups, workstations, and applications
Plan and perform migration of file & print services and other applications as identified during discovery
Support application teams in migration of applications
Guide and support in-earnest migration efforts
Support cutover and decommissioning of legacy environment
Report on current state, issues, and future activities

Qualifications:
10+ years of experience with Active Directory
Accomplished, supported, and lead multiple Active Directory migrations
Expertise with Windows Server 2008/2008 R2, Server 2012/2012R2, and Server 2016
Enterprise (more than 15,000 users) experience with design, implementation, and operation of Active Directory
5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure AD
5+ years of experience with Azure AD, Azure AD Domain Services, Azure AD Connect, Azure AD B2C, MFA
Experience using migration and integration tools such as ADMT or Dell / Quest Migration tools
Superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills at the System Engineer/Architect level.
Sufficient technical depth to communicate with business and other internal IT Groups at a peer level
The ability to work independently with minimal management supervision and as part of nationwide team of engineers
Be confident and actively participating in team support by proposing and implementing solutions
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Patient, calm, and supportive demeanor
Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail
Strong organizational and communication skills
Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Able to work and complete tasks independently with minimal supervision
Detail Oriented and resourceful
Admin experience preferred
