Project Manager 2

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager 2 in Glenn Dale, MD.

Key Tasks:
* Project Manager 2 will lead project management efforts for large-scale enterprise implementations using standard industry practices, focusing on Agile (Scrum) methodologies
* Create, manage, and maintain project artifacts, including project charters, work plans, schedules, and other necessary documentation
* Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives
* Manage project communication, delivering updates to clients, IT teams, leadership, and oversight entities as necessary
* As a Project Manager 2, you will provide technical support during work hours and be available for on-call support when required
* Develop and deliver presentations to leadership and other relevant groups
* Oversee the project from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery and quality

REQUIREMENTS:
* PMP Certification or equivalent project management certification (required)
* 6+ years of project management experience for large-scale enterprise implementations
* 6+ years of experience in project management with the State of Texas or similar federal/state projects
* 3+ years of experience managing Agile (Scrum) projects
* 3+ years of software development experience
* 3+ years of experience using Jira for project tracking and management
* Experience with the State of Texas Project Delivery Framework (preferred)
* Experience with data warehouse applications or database reporting features (preferred)
* Familiarity with State Procurement and Contracting processes (preferred)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
