We are looking for someone with impeccable communication, time management, and organizational skills. Our ideal candidate has a strong aptitude for developing and maintaining client relationships. Our rock star will be interacting with executives - as well as software and service end users - and take ownership of their clients’ success. They will be expected to learn the surplus lines industry and understand how InsCipher’s services and software solve client pain points. They will consult with new clients transitioning out of implementation and advise on workflow best practices. Our perfect candidate will enjoy interfacing with individual clients as well as managing largescale outreach to clients as state compliance requirements change.

The Customer Success Manager will develop strategic partnerships with clients in order to…

  • advocate for both clients and InsCipher
  • evaluate customer satisfaction via customer health scores
  • collect testimonials for use in marketing and sales
  • create exit barriers and prevent churn
  • increase revenue through cross-selling and referrals generation
  • collect information to inform e-learning course development
  • evolve business model from a transactional service to a true partnership
    • focus on workflow improvement
    • proactive outreach & prescriptive strategic advice
  • manage customer segmentation for client prioritization

What Would Your Day-to-Day Look Like?

Each day you will be exposed to a variety of activities and projects. Your primary focus will be interfacing with clients at an all-star level:

  • Serve as main point of contact for all clients post go-live
  • Proactively collaborate with targeted segments of the customer base
  • Handle large-scale client outreach to clients
  • Lead customer satisfaction initiatives to collect data and evaluate overall client health
  • Coordinate wellness plans for at-risk clients
  • Own client escalations and connect clients to the correct internal resources
  • Create custom reports on an as-needed basis
  • Assess scope of client support or training requests and advise on fee-for-service cost
  • Answer ad-hoc research questions
  • Periodically serve as backup for out-of-office support reps
  • Work alongside our filing services team to effectively maintain client data
  • Assist with periodic credentials audits to ensure uninterrupted services

What are the qualifications for this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of direct customer service
  • 2+ years of experience in the excess & surplus insurance industry
  • Insurance industry knowledge preferred
  • Surplus lines insurance knowledge a plus

Salary Range: $75,000-$83,000
