We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with 6-8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and programming languages such as Python or R. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a must, and a GCP ML Engineer certification is highly preferred.
As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting advanced statistical analysis, managing large datasets, and creating machine learning models that drive business insights. The role requires strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex data findings in a clear and actionable way to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Statistical Analysis: Apply advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques to extract insights from data.
- Programming: Write and optimize code in Python or R to preprocess, clean, and analyze data.
- Database Management: Utilize SQL for efficient database querying and management.
- Data Preparation: Preprocess, clean, and structure large datasets using relevant tools and programming languages.
- Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving: Interpret data using logical analysis and provide solutions to business problems.
- Communication: Effectively communicate data-driven insights and results to stakeholders in a manner that enables decision-making.
Qualifications:
- 6-8 years of experience in data science, statistical analysis, or machine learning.
- Proficiency in Python or R programming languages.
- Strong understanding of SQL and database management.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP); GCP Professional ML Engineer Certification is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
