Randstad is partnered with a financial client seeking a Visual Designer to work on their corporate credit card application team that supports onboarding new or existing clients applying for cards in the corporate space. Manager is seeking someone who can do complex design and communicate with stakeholders on best UX practices. The position will be visual design focused - color theory, typography, accessibility etc. on their digital ux design team. Position will be a 1 year contract to start and requires 3 days hybrid from one of the following hubs below.

A Visual Interaction Designer (VID) is responsible for shaping and improving the user experience through design and considering the effects of typography, space, layouts, color illustrations and photography on the usability of digital product. The VID combines a thorough knowledge of current design trends, and a working knowledge of front-end development to interfaces across a variety of digital products.

responsibilities:


1. Create accessible interaction modules, screen layouts, style guides, pattern libraries, images, icons and other visual elements for approved and funded projects


2. Applies and updates existing brand (visual and interaction) standards to accommodate new products and campaigns


3. Presents and communicates design and design goals to teammates and partners


4. Validates code is built as designed during projects (according to brand standards, style guides and pattern libraries)


5. Reviews artifacts and deliverables from peer designers to ensure they accurately represent the brand


6. Collaboratively partner with UX peers (visual designers, content writers, accessibility consultants, researchers, prototypers, and strategists) to create world class customer experiences


7. Formally observes user interviews and usability sessions
