Position Title: AI/ML Engineer

Location: Malvern, PA

Position Overview:

TekPlant is seeking an AI/ML Engineer with 6+ years of experience to join our team in designing and implementing data-driven solutions that leverage machine learning, artificial intelligence, automation, and Generative AI. TekPlant is seeking candidates with a mix of leadership, technical, and business experience in mission-oriented environments.

This role will be responsible for supporting a wide range of project activities spanning business and technology environments.

Your Future Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to define and implement AI/ML strategies for data-driven decision-making
  • Serve as a technical lead, driving AI and machine learning projects from concept to deployment
  • Provide thought leadership and innovative ideas to guide the application of AI/ML
  • Design, build, and deploy AI/ML models that enhance business operations and provide predictive analytics
  • Lead the development of automation solutions that streamline processes and redeploy personnel to high-value tasks
  • Maintain technical architecture ensuring data integrity and consistency
  • Develop and present AI/ML insights and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Stay up to date with advancements in AI/ML, including Large Language Models (LLMs), and apply them to business problems
  • Perform other related duties as needed to support the mission

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Technology, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline from an accredited college, university, or academic institution in the United States.
  • 6+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data science modeling, and data-driven solution design
  • Proficiency in programming languages (Python, R, C++) and SQL for data extraction, modeling, and analysis
  • Experience designing and implementing machine learning models, including classification, clustering, and time series forecasting
  • Strong understanding of business processes and creating process flow diagrams
  • Proven experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) for dashboard creation
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex automation concepts
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and capability to meet tight deadlines while delivering high-quality solutions.

Additional preferred qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with UiPath, Power Automate, Blue Prism, and/or Appian
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure) and cloud automation tools (Lambda Functions, Logic Apps).
