The Sales Executive plays a crucial role in driving our sales efforts and expanding our market presence. You will be responsible for prospecting, developing, and identifying new business opportunities and closing of sales opportunities. You will sell all of Protech s technology services and solutions, partnering with client executives, engineers, pre-sales and other ProTech team members and alliance partners to deliver complete solutions, and satisfy client expectations.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market share in the Mid-South area
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions
  • Maintains knowledge of market conditions and clearly understands the key challenges our customers face and how our solutions solve these challenges
  • Performs research to identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
  • Builds relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business and advance the sales cycle
  • Serves as a liaison with vendors to build partnerships that will help our brand and overall sales objectives
  • Schedule discovery meetings and site surveys with technical personnel to create a customized solutions for prospect
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, negotiate contracts, present statements of work and close deals in accordance with company guidelines
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the sales management team, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, pre-sales team to ensure alignment and execution of sales initiatives
  • Represent ProTech in the IT Services Industry in the Memphis Market and attend key industry events, trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings to promote our brand and foster business relationships
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and market conditions
Education and Work Experience
  • Bachelor s Degree with an emphasis in business, technology, communications, marketing, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 4 years proven outside (B2B) sales experience selling technical solutions, consultative service solutions, or similar sales experience
  • Successful and proven cold calling, networking, and lead generation experience
  • Possess the knowledge and skills to hold return-on-investment and business value conversations as they pertain to specific client organizations

  • Technical Knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability in meeting sales objectives
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools such as ConnectWise, Bullhorn, other Sales Automation Tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite or related software as required to prepare reports, presentations, calendar management, etc.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • Will require frequent travel within the Mid-South area
