Job Description:

  • 7-9 years of experience in a technical position and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in VMware Telco Cloud Platform.
  • Strong understanding and hands on experience working with underlying infrastructure Telco Cloud Automation (TCA), VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG), vRO, NSX, AVI, vCenter, ESXi, and vSAN
  • Manage and troubleshoot the VMware Telco Cloud Platform, VNF, CNF via TCA.
  • Technical knowledge with experience in Network Function virtualization: orchestration (MANO), NFVI VNF.
  • Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Terraform/Ansible).
  • Ability to manage large projects related to telco cloud.
  • In depth understanding of HELM chart, Grafana, Harbour.
  • Good understanding of Kubernetes infrastructure POD, rolling updates, scale up/down, HPA, node affinity, services etc.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot Telco-Cloud infrastructure issues like "resolve hardware, software or other network, systems problems, and replace defective components when necessary".
  • Experience with Kubernetes scheduling, resource management, networking, communication, security, config-maps, ingress controllers, etc
  • Hands-on with native Kubernetes commands and configuration ex: kubectl, YAML descriptors for various resource types
  • Strong understanding and hands on experience in leveraging observability solutions (vRO, PrometheGrafana, Dynatrace) for Kubernetes platform monitoring and logging
  • Understanding of cloud-ready, cloud-native, micro services and containers architecture, Devops
  • Ability to manage large projects related to VMware Telco Cloud.
  • In depth understanding of helm chart, Grafana, harbour.
